Position Statement: I support our law enforcement officers.

Our law enforcement officers are our first line of defense against terrorism here at home. Criminal activity affects our lifestyles and can make us prisioners in our own home. During my education in Optometry School I lived in Memphis, Tennessee. Windows had bars on them and the doors had a metal security door. I lost a friend there one night within a block of where we lived.
We cannot allow criminals to get the upper hand. Funding to local and state law enforcement agencies needs to be adequate to allow for new equipment and sufficient staffing. |
