Position Statement: Lawsuits cost everyone. You pay the price for every one.

I oppose frivilous lawsuits. You pay for these everytime you buy something. Doesn't matter what it is. Automobile manufacturers have been sued and now pass on the cost to the consumer. Fast food restaurants have been sued and now pass on the cost to the consumer. Hospitals have been sued and now pass on the cost. The list is endless. Health care costs rise due in a large part to rising insurance and litigation costs. Some doctors have even started practing without insurance! IT'S TIME to stop these lawsuits. IT'S TIME to elect someone who will work to eliminate these burdens on our society. |
