IT'S TIME to eliminate the national debt. Spending needs to be limited to worthwhile projects and common sense. As Senator I will work to eliminate the debt and to put common sense values back into the spending. As I have indicated in other issues, when I purpose to spend taxpayers money, I will also provide a way to pay for the expense. Every piece of legislation that is approved should have the funding source provided. You can't pay a lot of bills out of thin air you need a reliable source of revenue. There is no need to raise taxes to cut the deficit. Just stop wasting money. |

The national debt continues to rise. Apparently Congress did not see my request from October 2005. Sorry, Senator Byrd you and Senator Rockefeller get an F along with everyone else.
