I support helping families move from welfare to working. We must eliminate the trap of getting on welfare and not being able to afford to leave. Moving welfare recipients into meaningful work helps reduce the tax burden on all taxpayers. College education and training should be accessible to assist with the transition. And most of all, we must create good quality jobs here in the state to keep them working! |
