Position Statement:  Will voters make the right decision?

Description of Position:
I chose not to run for the US Senate because Senator Rockefeller is very popular. I disagree with his pro-choice stance and am amazed at how he can be so popular while West Virginia continues to be economically depressed. The most important issues of our times are not being addressed by him or his senior Senator, yet voters do not seem to be concerned. West Virginians are loyal. That is for sure. If Osama Bin Laden ran for office on the democratic ticket he would get at least 40% of the votes, because that is how many vote straight tickets. I considered a run for governor but once again the current governor is very popular. I also chose not to run for these offices for personal reasons. My son will be a high school senior this fall and my daughter is in middle school. As a parent my duty is to be with them during these trying years. I would have ran for the House of Delegates because one of my district delegates is pro-choice. But an error on my part caused my filing to be rejected. So I will spend this election on the sidelines working hard to help pro-life Republicans get elected. Maybe voters will wake up before it is too late. As I sit on the sidelines this election, I hope a democrat will explain to me why they think that after 70 years of democratic rule, Republicans are to blame for the poverty in our state? And why we should keep electing the democratic candidates. Answer that one please!

Hope. A bumper sticker says it all. The owner of that car has hope in Senator Obama. The truth is that people really want our elected leaders to lead. To make things better. But real hope does not come from a man. It does not come from a political party. It does not come from a government. Hope comes from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and him alone. The owner of that bumper sticker will be disappointed. Win or lose Senator Obama is not the source of hope. Nor is Senator McCain. We should have hope. Hope in the returning Messiah. If you want real hope read FINDING AMERICA. It holds news that will give you true hope. You do not need a bumper sticker for that.

Senator Obama now supports the Bail out plan. He wants to raise the FDIC threshold to $ 250,000. Wonder if anyone will notice this is aimed at the rich? Most Americans do not have this much in the bank do they? Not according to the financial statistics. So Senator Obama is now trying to HELP rich people. Goes against his other plans for America. This is a hypocrisy. Btw, the FDIC has been running out of money down to less then $ 50 Billion. He wants to open it up to more liability. What plan does he have to raise the extra money needed to cover this expanding limit? Banks normally pay a fee for this protection. Is Senator Obama going to ask hard-hit banks to pay more? Or is he going to ask taxpayers? Or is he going to add it to the national debt which grows by over a million a day? Or is going to claim to take it from the rich? This is what you call painting yourself in a corner. One lie leads to another to another to another to another. Too bad voters do not pay attention.

For the record, Senator McCain also is now supporting the bailout and FDIC increase.

The VP candidates debate tonight. One news source has Palin never being in a debate before. Another one, says she had debated during her race for governor. So one is a lie. But does it really matter? All that matters is who the public thinks wins tonight. Because I can tell you that for most of the liberal media Senator Biden wins. For the conservative commentators, Palin wins. But what really counts is what you think?

She can lose the debate and it will not affect my vote. I would not trust anyone with my tax dollars that votes to kill innocent babies. Btw, Senator Biden does not even know the facts about Roe vs Wade! How can he make an informed decision without the facts? Yeah, I want him one heartbeat from the presidency. Go Barracuda!

Liberal lies revealed. Liberals claim to support women`s rights. Wrong. We knew it was a lie otherwise they would not support the gender bias of abortion, where the majority of innocent children murdered are female. No, they overlook that truth. But now their real lies come to the surface. They do not support women. Otherwise, they would welcome Gov. Sarah Palin as a major achievement for the advancement of women. Instead, the liberals are attacking her for her beauty and question her experience. Completely, overlooking the fact that `Senator for two days then running for president` Obama has no experience. LIES. Women of America take notice, the liberal democratic party does NOT support your rights. Unless you want to continue killing innocent babies so you can have perverted sex on demand. They do not care about equal pay and benefits for women. They do not care. Liberalism is a lie. And that is the truth.

Jesus told us that we would be hated by the world. If we do HIS will the world will hate us. The world loves its own. Today`s poll results show us how our presidential candidates are viewed in this world. Senator Obama is the clear winner. Other countries want him as president. Satan must be beaming with joy and anticipation.

Do not worry. For Jesus will overcome the world and Satan is a loser. I only wish Christians would read the Bible instead of the liberal news.

`Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character.` --1 Corinthians 15:33. Senator Obama sees no problems with the people he hangs out with. Too bad, he has not read the Bible, because God says otherwise. Hanging around with a known terrorist, no matter what your association is wrong. Being with a minister filled with hatred is wrong. Character is the basic fiber of any political candidate or leader. Yes, it does matter who you hang out with.

I admit it openly that I have grown tired of the election. Last night instead of watching the debate I watched a NFL rerun of the Colts comeback victory over the Texans. And I am a Steeler fan! I have grown tired of watching the liberals tell us how bad the United States is. Really, they are depressing. But it reminds me of the major difference between liberals and conservatives. Liberals see the bad in America. Conservatives see the good in America. No, we are not perfect and as a conservative I do not claim that we are. But conservatives see the glass half full and look at the positives. We want to build upon our positives and fix our negatives. Liberals want to focus on the negatives and ignore the positives. Senator Obama and his full time Washington-as-usual VP candidate Senator Biden make America sound so bad I wonder why they even want the job?

I had hoped racism was about gone in America. With time it had appeared that racism had almost been overcome. I was wrong. Racism is alive and well in America. But you will not hear any of the prominent racist opponents speak out. They have remained quiet. The double standard has been implemented. Racism is apparently acceptable under the right conditions. A prominent liberal magazine gave the poll recently that spells the issue out in complete terms. Ninety-seven percent of black voters support Barack Obama. Zero percent, meaning less than one percent I would assume, support Senator McCain in the poll. Even six percent of liberals support Senator McCain! America will look back on this election and realize that all the hard work of fighting racism was for nought. Racism will now never go away. Reverse racism is just as bad. The issue will continue to divide us and what excuse will they now have? Double standards are as much a social injustice as racism. I am not voting for Senator Obama. And it has nothing to do with the color of his skin. Too bad others are.
