Position Statement: West Virginia needs the death penalty.

The death penalty is needed to deter certain crimes. West Virginia should enact the death penalty and include a time limit for the penalty to be carried out. Prudent use of the death penalty can provide our citizens with more security. Being pro-life I consider life to be a precious gift from God. Not to be taken from anyone, unborn or born, needlessly. I believe the death penalty will reduce the loss of life in West Virginia. Innocent life must be protected as stated in our Declaration of Independence `the pursuit of life......`. ITS TIME to enact the death penalty in West Virginia and use it to protect our citizens. |
