Position Statement: Our government lacks long range planning and instead using CRISIS PLANNING. Wait till you have a crisis and then do your planning. Usually by slick political useless pieces of legislation that hides the real problem and the real solution till the election is over. Whew! That problem is fixed, now what? Just be happy with $2.50/gallon, it could be worse. THERE IS A BETTER WAY.

Crisis planning is defined as when you wait till you have a crisis to do your planning. What can we do? Consistently, people ask me why I want to run for the Senate. The answer is, to make the government work better by installing a long range planning view of government. Long range planning will allow our government to plan for the future and not at the expense of the present. Why should our children pay for our mistakes? Why do we have a NINE TRILLION DOLLAR DEBT FOR THEM TO INHERIT? They deserve better. They deserve the best we can give them. Long range planning will provide for THEIR RETIREMENT, THEIR CHILDRENS RETIREMENT AND THEIR CHILDRENS RETIREMENT. All without sacrificing the people of today. But it does require changes to our current way of governing. Are you ready for change? Or do you want to stay with CRISIS PLANNING. Your vote will decide. I just hope you can afford to buy gas to get to the polls on Election Day. |
