Position Statement: A new world is at hand.

The United States Constitution has been the framework for this great nation for over 200 years. Even politicians have not been able to mess it up completely. Even though the Supreme Court has made several serious attempts to distort the intent. Separation of Church and State, abortion and eminient domain are some of the prominent issues that the highest court has failed the American people and our founding fathers.
I believe we should support the Constitution as it was written with the intent our founding fathers penned the words. Using our own judgement to bring the issues current is a serious and most likely detrimental course of action. For example, several of our founding fathers did not want political parties `wait a minute, maybe they WERE smarter then we give them credit!` yet they did not impose that viewpoint into the words of the Constitution. So should we now put our viewpoint into the words? The First Amendment prohibits the State `ie, government` from imposing a State sponsored Church onto the people, instead allowing us to worship God as we see fit. Methodists, Baptists and Church of God denominations are all allowed under the Amendment. Yet the Supreme Court ruled somehow that the Amendment meant to separate Church and State. This is not true. The founding fathers wanted to keep government out of the Churches. Not our Churches out of government. If you do not believe this then use the link to the right and read the Amendment for yourself. Then pick up history books and read about our founding fathers. The Puritans and Pilgrims came to America to avoid the State mandated Church. The founding fathers built this country on their faith in God. Does the Supreme Court really think we do not need him now?

The Constitution was written to protect the rights of citizens. Not illegal immigrants. Immigrants who come to this country legally can under proper conditions enjoy the same rights as naturally-born citizens. Illegal immigrants are not entitled to the same consideration. Until our elected leaders realize that and take action our security and our Consitutional rights are in jeopardy. |

Do YOU, an American citizen, want your President to be legally eligible to hold office?
Your answer to that straightforward question could determine the future of America.
Doesn`t matter? Or, does it? If you agree with me that anyone serving in the highest office of our federal government should be completely eligible then I ask you to answer the poll with a YES. If you disagree, then mark NO. But keep in mind that you reap what you sow.
As an elector for West Virginia I have chosen to support our Constitution. Senator Robert C. Byrd has served West Virginia for over 50 years in the United States Senate and he is well-known to carry a copy of the Constitution with him. I believe the majority of Americans want their President to have the confidence and support of the people. We the people, deserve our rights protected by the Constitution. I am honored to have the opportunity to play a very small role in defending the Constitution. Please take a look at the link on the right hand side for my explanation as to why I joined the lawsuit to protect our Constitution. |
